Concert in the Orchard - Hikowai

Hey there,

Came home from Tamworth, to then head down to Pauanui, - Hikowai to play at the Concert in the Orchard.

A W E S O M E !!!

Caught up again with good friends, Alan and Mary Hitchens. Had wine and nibbles and picnic tea, and then fiddled with Will Martin. (He's so young)

The concert was a ripping success for me. I got Shania Allport - one of my violin pupils to play on stage with me. People came down and danced on the dirt and grass.

Kids had balloons and it was a huge party atmosphere. Sold heaps of T -shirts DVDS and CDs. yay. The local Primary School Choir - The Hikowaaiins sang. They were great too.

At the end of the night, we had supper with Annie and Gary, I had a wine or two or I think even three. oh oh.. and then we drove to the magnificent Puka Park Resort, where our room awaited. Woke tothe tuis outside the window, took photos and went back to bed.

Had Breakfast in Town, sold more DVDs and CDs at the table from passers by, and then headed back to Auckland. Nice having some time with Phill.
