The Golden Fiddle Awards

I was presented with an award, by the Golden Fiddle Awards Committee in the Tamworth TownHall on the 21st of January.
Thank you Mark Mitchell, director of the Golden Fiddle Awards. xoxo That was so awesome.
Thanks Ken Newton for posting such lovely pics on the powerpoint presentation. xoxo

Pixie Jenkins won this award last year and presented it to me this year, and not only that, but Andrew Clermont came out on stage with a gi-normous Chocolate Cake in the shape of a fiddle - bigger than my violin case.. Just gorgeous. and yes that hint of australian humour.... there were white sheep on it and it did read ... .."baaaa" ha!
I cried. What a neat surprise.
I also got to catch up and play with Garry Steel, my FAVOURITE accordion / keyboard player in Tamworth.

Well folks. I celebrate my 40th year this year playing the violin.. what a note to leave Australia on.. I headed out to Sydney at 6.a.m. the next morning.
A day never ever ever to forget.
Cheers

I've come home very proud to be a Kiwi AND a Girl!! Thanks Australia Fiddle Players. xoxo
